Assignment 02: Logical Formatting with XHTML

Reproducing Format

Download the PDF version of this paper: "15 Compilers in 15 Days". (You need to be on campus in order to access the PDF.)

For this assignment, reproduce the beginning of Section 2.3 in XHTML, from the section header through the line "method for further reuse." (about sixteen lines later)

Reproduce the intent of the prose. That is, headers are headers, emphasized is emphasized, pre-formatted is pre-formatted, etc.

Do not reproduce artifacts of the format: paragraph indents, margins, word wrap, etc.

Write a validating XHTML page (strict) and an external CSS style sheet.
