Course Objectives: In this two-course, Fall-Spring course sequence, students design and develop a significant computing project. This affords them the opportunity to apply the range of concepts and skills they've learned in previous courses to a problem of interest to them. Students who complete the project will be able to demonstrate that they can:

• Complete the analysis, design, implementation and testing of a significant development or research project.
• Manage the conduct and completion of this project.
• Communicate technically through written reports and oral presentations.
• Explain the role of computing in their chosen vocation.

The nature of the project is determined through collaboration between the student (or student team), their faculty advisor, and the department. The department will consider a variety of types of projects, including research or applied projects, and individual or team projects (perhaps in conjunction with an Engineering senior design project team).
