Internet Administration Today, the Internet is a truly global and cooperative venture. The Internet Society (ISOC) is an international non-profit organization charged with overseeing the Internet. The ISOC is comprised of representatives from a great variety of companies, institutions, and agencies that contribute to some piece of the Internet and thus have an interest in the viability of the Internet. It's truly impressive, isn't it? The entire world can come together and cooperate to support this truly global infrastructure. In some ways, it should be surprising that the Internet works at all, let alone works so well! |
