Hands On C++ Lab 14 Instructor's Notes
Lab 14: Instructor's Notes
The lab exercise asks the students to run some time
experiments. There are a few things for you to do and consider:
- Try the experiments yourself to see how well the
clock()
function measures time on your system.
- You may want to change the number of iterations that each driver
spends running its tests.
- You may want to change the sample range of n.
- Students need to graph their timing results, and it is suggested
that a spreadsheet program be used for this. Make sure the
students have one available to them.
