Adjunct Faculty Position

Positions

The Calvin College Department of Computer Science seeks applicants for one or more part-time faculty positions. Individuals from all computing-related areas are invited to apply. Responsibilities include: teaching computing-related courses, including lecture and/or lab sessions of introductory courses, as well as courses that serve other departments.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a masters degree (or at least five years of work experience) in computer science or a related area and must be committed to undergraduate education. Desirable qualities include: experience and skills in teaching undergraduates, including strong communication and organizational skills.

Applicants should have a commitment to:

  1. the educational mission of Calvin College as a Christian liberal arts college affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church.
  2. the Christian faith and to the integration of faith, learning, and student development.
