One of the objectives for IDIS 110 is basic knowledge of:

• Computer operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows)
• Word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)
• Presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Powerpoint)

If you are not familiar with any of these technologies, then take time early in the semester to learn about them. You can find skills checklists as well as tutorial material on all of these "Prerequisite Skills" at the RIT tutorials site.

You should also be sure that you bring your Novell, email and Knightvision logins and passwords to our first class session.
