Status report should indicate where you are with respect to your project plan. You can include the elements you and your mentor deem appropriate, but it's generally good to do the following:
Document the work you’ve done so far. This is helpful because this material will become part of your final project report.
Indicate where you are with respect to your project plan. Specify what you've done and what you still need to do.
Include a description of any working code that you have.
This report may be informal, but as suggested above, it may be wise to start writing draft material for your final report.
