Students who complete this unit will demonstrate that they can:
- Compare and contrast appropriate data models, including
internal structures, for different types of data.
- Describe concepts in modeling notation (e.g., Entity-Relation
Diagrams or UML) and how they would be used.
- Describe the differences between relational and
semi-structured data models.
- Prepare a relational schema from a conceptual model developed
using the entity-relationship model.
