Our World Belongs to God: A Contemporary Testimony

The "Our World Belongs to God" document was approved by the Christian Reformed Church Synod in 1986. Stanza 52 of the testimony speaks directly to issues in science and technology.

Grateful for the advances in science and technology,[1]
we make careful use of their products,[2]
on guard against idolatry and harmful research, and careful to use them in ways that answer[3]
to God's demands to love our neighbor and to care for the earth and its creatures.[4]
