The Larry and Sharlene Nyhoff Scholarship in Computer Science

The Larry and Sharlene Nyhoff Scholarship in Computer Science is funded by an endowment established by Dr. Larry Nyhoff. The scholarship is awarded to a strong first year student majoring or minoring in one of the computer science programs. Interested high school students should apply in January or early February of their senior year, before their first year at Calvin.

Dr. Nyhoff is a professor emeritus of Calvin College. His teaching career at Calvin has spanned has more than 40 years. He has authored more than 30 textbooks, which are used in colleges and universities around the world. We gratefully thank him for his generosity in funding this scholarship.
