Calvin’s Computer Science Department invites you to join us for a day. It’s been well established that computing professions will be heavily in demand well into the future. We want to tell you what Calvin can offer tomorrow’s professionals. We will offer details on the following:

11:30 a.m. Tour of Computer Science – A super computer, an open networking room, and a website that receives a million (that’s right: a million) hits a day are among the highlights of the tour.

12:30 p.m. Lunch with Computer Science Faculty and students Chapel Undercroft
1:30 p.m. Robotic Car Demonstration – Wouldn’t it be nice to program your car so you don’t have to do the driving? Here’s is a small step to get started on that future project. Guests will compile and run a program on a programmable robot, making it draw a spirograph-like design on a whiteboard.

2:30 p.m. Q&A with Current Students and Graduates – Take this chance to speak with current and former students about the CS and IS programs and about Calvin College in general.
