This status report should indicate where you are with respect to your project plan. You can include the elements you and your mentor deem appropriate, but it's generally good to do the following:

Indicate where you are with respect to your project plan. Specify what you've done and what you still need to do.
This report may be informal, but as suggested above, it may be wise to start writing draft material for your final report.
