The final deliverable for the senior project includes the following components:
- Final Report - The final report should be a
formal, written paper discussing the nature of the project, the
system you built, and the implications for the future. The
general sections to include in your final report are as follows:
- Project vision and overview
- Background, including research review
- System design, implementation and testing
- Results and discussion
- Conclusions
- Future work
- Acknowledgements
- References
- Appendixes (if appropriate)
Final Presentation/Demonstration - You are required to present your work in some way. Generally, this will be done at the Spring meeting of the department partners council meeting, usually on a Friday in late April. Depending upon scheduling, this may involve participation in a poster session or a full demo and presentation.
Final System - Deliver your final working system in an appropriate manner that will allow the department to review your work. Students may require that the code and/or data be kept private.
These components can be delivered in any manner you deem appropriate for your project in consultation with your mentor and the department.
