Lab 1: Instructor's Notes

If you wish to keep network traffic (and student lab time) to a minimum, consider the following steps:

1. Create a course directory containing a 1 subdirectory. Then copy hypot.cpp into this directory.
2. At the beginning of your lab session, review absolute and relative file names, and how to copy files from one directory to another.
3. Inform your students of the absolute name of the file they need to copy for today's exercise (hypot.cpp).
